LEARNING/TEACHING
For the period
May 4th 2020 to June 26th 2020
Dear Parent/Guardian,
This timetable acts as a guide to keep students focused
and engaged during this period at home. Our primary objective is engagement
through revision and reinforcement of work previously completed. At the
specified time, students will have access to their teachers for teaching and
the discussion of topics. We are very much aware of the challenges which
students may experience to access online classes and content. As we take these
issues into consideration, please note that students who are unable to access teaching
and content for legitimate reasons will NOT be penalised or left at a
disadvantage. Term III work will begin for all students when schools are deemed
safe to re-open. Additionally, please be mindful that:

Teachers have volunteered to identify activities to be
undertaken during these set times.
●
E-learning will take the form of Webinars and other
collaborative and social learning platforms.
●
Teachers will liaise with students and inform them of the
structure of each session. Teachers may also liaise with students and make
other arrangements outside of this schedule.
●
Students must login to the Webinars or live classes at the
stipulated times.
●
Work, assignments, resource materials, will be posted on
the collaborative and social platforms (Edmodo, Google Classroom etc.) at the
scheduled times but must be accessed, completed and
submitted before the next class.
●
All material covered in sessions will be available to
students for a minimum of one (1) week before being updated.
●
Time management and discipline is crucial to the success
of these online classes.
